Chaired by an independent Chairman, the long awaited Breed Council has successfully met for the inaugural meeting
Over eleven years ago the first meeting of the forerunner to this Council, called the Liaison Meeting of the three UK Dandie Dinmont Terrier Clubs, met at the Royal Oak Inn, Appleby-in-Westmorland. No minutes were taken by the decision of the delegates as 'it wasn't a Committee'.
Thankfully times and personnel have changed and, at the Big Lock, Middlewich, Cheshire, our new UK Breed Council has convened for the first time and decided that the Minutes of their Meetings will be available publicly.
