Barony House, the summer home of Sir Walter Scott who penned the name 'Dandie Dinmont Terrier' is for sale. Will this be the last chance for us to see how the 'family' lived in this house? Webmaster's Dream - wouldn't it be wonderful if a Dandie Friendly person bought both lots and grounds, made apartments in the Stables/Outbuildings etc. and made it into a Dandie Owner Retirement Home. Well I said it was a dream but in the greater scale of things £1.1 million asking price makes it not too far fetched! More achievable than buying Abbotsford for example!
