The Southern Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club Open Show, 13th April 2008, judged by Mike Gilbert [Kennel Carac], saw Jackie and Billy Shore's Swanwillow Savannah go Best in Show with Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex awarded to Wendy Weatherstone's Hendell Beau Brummel at Borderstone. Best Puppy was Lynda Bromley's Mishahda Tempting Touch. Best Veteran was Sam and Jo Price's Josaka's Gash, Reserve Best Dog, Christine Morris' Needwood Fancyman at Pennywave and Reserve Best Bitch Lynda Bromley's Ch Mishahda Cinnamon Crumble.
Some of us use the 'state of the daffodils' at the Southern Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club AGM Show as a global warming indicator. This year, as you can see, we are pleased to report that the daffodils were in full bloom unlike last year when they had died! It looks as though it was a very jolly show and thanks to Paul Keevil we have his annual group shot taken in lovely sunshine.
