What a lovely breed the DD is. Our Harry is a real character - humorous, fiercely independent, very affectionate and with an expression that could melt an iceberg! He is one of three dogs - a Cesky and a big bear of a dog - his plan is to become No. 1 in due course!

Sadly, after being a show off on this web-site about Alma (Yazga Lay Lady Lay at Penactiv) doing so well at nearly 16 we lost her on the 29th Feb. She suddenly developed a bad limp and then could not put the foot to the floor. After the pills didn't work we did an x-ray and vets prognosis was a possible cancer in the bone. I told them not to wake her up but was very sad to not be with her. She was very special to all of us and I know Paul & Sheila feel this very much as they still have her litter brother.

Hello to all my Dandie Friends
I have some sad news to pass on as well
I have very sadly had to have Pumpkin [Patcell Hocus Pocus - Inzievar silver Sword x Westwell Cupid's Love]put to sleep aged 12.25 years. He was such a wonderful healthy friend up until his final three days. A huge Thank You to Frances and Bill who helped me so much when he was a tiny pup. His mum Celandine is 15.5 years and although missing her son she still believes she's a superstar.. and she looks like one too!
The search will now begin for another small mustard girl pup and any help will be greatly appreciated

Just wanted to warn other D.D owners, our little Polly aged 3.1/2 died this week having a heartworm injection, it caused heart failure, she was gone within minutes, the vet could not save her, we are devastated.

I have a boony mustard dog called Ramses of 8 months old, I think he is the only one living in Spain and I am very proud of it (being the first person in Spain of having one Dandie), he is the most lovable and beautiful dog ever existing (for me of course!),and my husband and I are really in love with him, I have been after this breed for a long time and unfortunately nobody from Great Britain could sell me one, but thanks to a German breeder (Mrs.Marlies Rudischer)now I have him with me.I read all I can about this breed and I think it is the most wonderful breed of the world. We have to preserve their future.
