Dandie Dinmont Terriers in the UK

An update! We are the lucky parents of Gryffin, a sweet and wonderful pepper of six months. After the loss of our first Dandie, we were devastated, but Gryffin has been a wonderful addition to our family. Our dandie pup is intelligent, funny, sweet and so incredibly beautiful--so true to his awesome breed. Everyone falls in love with the little guy, and he is very cherished in this household! He is snoring blissfully, as I type.

Since 6 years now I have a Dandie from a shelter in Holland,she is the sweetest dog I know and I love her dearly.But after a few years I started asking myself where did she come from? I want to know more about her history,could someone help me ? If annyone has a contact in holland with a Dandie breeder...annything,I would like to know.

Hi all. I just had to put to rest my beloved pepper Dandie at age 17.2. Amazingly, I adopted from a tiny no-kill shelter as a pup and lived a wonderful life as the burst of sunshine in the family. How to follow perfection? I want another Dandie. Please contact me immediately if you are a Dandie breeder, or know where I can find one in the US or Canada, preferably. Since my dog was a rescue, I have no idea how to find another of his breed. That sweet little guy hooked my on Dandies for life!
