Apparently William Norwich at the US Vogue Magazine is advising that the "au courant" dog of choice for the summer "it" dog is the Dandie Dinmont Terrier! Deidre Woolard of Luxist goes on to describe the Dandie Dinmont as "docile and affectionate" - well they are aren't they but they still are terriers and not lapdogs. The old confusion between Mini Schnauzer and Dandie Dinmont coats is seen again - Mini Schnauzers have a 'pepper and salt' coat whilst Dandie Dinmont Terriers have a 'pepper' coat.

I wonder what has happened to the little "puggles" that were the Christmas "it" dog and what will happen to all the Dandies when Christmas time comes around with another fashion.
