The highly sought after Bar Stand of a Pepper Dandie, cast in plaster standing and on a wooden box base.
The black "nails" on the edge of the box are painted in and some difference in the wording on the box have been noted.
A
Mustard version has also been reported but is unseen by me. I suspect
this has been "after coloured" and the only "original" colour for this
bar Stand is Pepper, as per ALL other Dandie Dinmont Whisky items.
Height 10.25" (26cm)
One of the hardest DD Whisky items to find is this "rubberoid" bar stand used to promote the brand in Australia and New Zealand.
It stands 7" (17.5cm) high
Cast in 'hot metal' and hand painted, this Pepper Dandie stands on a black base with raised lettering.
Height: 3" (8cm)
Date: unknown but I suspect circa 1920s
