Boston 2013

1 Jacka-Slater’s Pennywave Long Ranger,

mustard dog who was the easy winner here especially with the other two not showing themselves to advantage. This boy presented a lovely outline, long & low with an excellent topline, well sprung ribs, nice deep chest, attractive head of correct proportions, dark expression eyes, good mouth, coat of excellent texture, really moved out well when viewed in profile. Could be more positive in front. Very well shown. RBD;

2 Chapman-King’s Inzievar Silver Belle,

delightful pepper bitch puppy at her very first show, such a baby & not quite sure of her surroundings but full of promise. Feminine head with excellent eye for shape & colour, strong neck of correct length, ribs developing nicely, correct topline, soundly constructed throughout. RBB, BP;

3 Drake’s Deegandan Bessie Surtees.

Post Graduate

1 P Lone Ranger;

2 Sleight’s Cassencarrie Madelaine at Bonnybeck,

mustard bitch who presented a nice balanced outline with excellent neck, typical topline, very good tail for both set & carriage, feminine expression, correct dentition, moving out well enough when viewed from the side. Not the head or movement overall of 1.

1 Russell’s Ch/Aust Ch Jollygaze Hopeless Romantic for Hawkesmill,

beautiful pepper bitch that just demanded the class, loved her head which was ultra feminine with dark expressive eyes & correct earset, so very well balanced, strong muscular neck, excellent long body with typical topline, good tail for both set & carriage, as sound as they come, using herself at all times, a sheer pleasure to watch on the move. BOB, later heard she took a much deserved G3;

2 King’s Ch Vistca Vian of Hendell,

very nice exhibit of different type to 1, well balanced boy of nice size, masculine head of correct proportions but with no suggestion of coarseness, quality coat in first class order. Felt his topline was a tad exaggerated, but of good length with excellent ribbing. Moves out well when viewed in profile. BD;

3 Kinsey-Morgan’s Inzievar Gold Effect.

Manchester 2013

Junior Dog (1)
1Jacka-Slater's  Pennywave Lone Ranger,
13 months mustard dog, lovely head, strong muzzle, correct dentition, well placed ear, good body & bone, coat coming along nicely, moved well. RBD.
Post Graduate Dog (1)
1 Johnson's Avonview Beinn Heasgarnich,
p/s dog, in good order, strong masculine head, large expressive eye, broad front, good brisket. Typical outline both standing & on the move, in good coat, carried a good body. A touch wide coming towards but good profile movement. BD.
Puppy Bitch (2)
1 Chapman-King's Inzievar Sparkling Silver,
p/s of just 6 months, full of joy in the ring just as she should be, of super type, very good body for her age, large well proportioned head, large expressive eyes, true front, deep in body, still carrying her puppy coat, well set & carried tail, very composed on the move display good movement front & back. RBB & BP;
2 Drake's  Deegandan Bessie Surtees,
another nice girl, not as sure of herself as 1. Good head, front OK, carried a good firm body, good bone, good coat texture. Could put a touch more in on the move but she is still young & inexperienced.
Post Graduate Bitch (1)
1 Bell's  Kirkhalin Mystic Prudence, p/s bitch, touch short of coat but what she had was of a good texture, good outline & tailset, balanced head, well set ears, carried enough body. A touch unsettled coming towards, OK going away.
Open Bitch (6)
1  Russel's Ch/Aus Ch Jollygaze Hopeless Romantic for Hawkesmill,
quality p/s girl of good type, well balanced all through, lovely head & eye, true well developed front, good bone & feet, carried a firm body, good coat of the correct texture, good outline standing & on the move. She was positive on the move both ways & gave a super picture in profile. BOB;
2 Morris'  Pennywave Amaryllis,
another quality girl who was in super coat & condition, front OK, good tailset, adequate bone for size. Unsettled coming towards, OK going away, just lacked a little sparkle;

CDDTC Championship Show 2012 Kelso November

Thursday, 30 August 2012 09:52
Published in Front Page

A wonderful clear frosty day met us all in Kelso for the CDDTC Championship Show 2012

where our judge for the day was Frances Chapman King 'Inzeivar'

Best in Show Ray's Dentgate Sweet Symphony

Dog CC Deacon's Ch Cassencarrie I Kid You Not

RDCC Hunter's Ch Etsill Scapa Flow

Bitch CC  Ray's  Dentgate Sweet Symphony

RBCC  Heywood's  Cloverwood Day by Day at Schalulleke

Best Puppy Skitt & Marshall's Deegandan Dughall

Best Veteran MacInnes' Glencobo Wreckin Lad at Bettymac

 It was an honour to judge my favourite breed in the heart of Dandie country. I was looking for that distinctive Dandie head, offsetting along low weasely body, and finnished with a crisp pencilled coat. Not easy to get it all in one package I know! Overall qulaity was variable, with bitches being generally stronger than the dogs, giving some close decisions.

Puppy Dog
1. Skitt & Marshall's Deegandan Dughall
 Showy mustard of good size with a balanced head, good expression, strong foreface.Good feet and bone, and moved out soundly. Shapely body and ok in shoulder. Could be a touch longer in ribbing and body to balance the picture. Not in his best jacket which detracted from the overall outline and outlook and cost him. Not yet finnished, and much to please. Promising youngster. Well handled.
Junior Dog
1. Henry's Dariant Genri Mi Rey at Trinzy
Mustard of good size with pleasing head proportions and dark eye. Good bone and feet, long bodied and coat coming through. Ribs could be carried further back to balance his body properties. Needs to settle on themove, and moved better behind. Well handled.
Special Yearling Dog
1.Henry's Dariant Genri Mi Rey at Trinz
Novice Dog
1. Henry's Dariant Genri Mi Rey at Trinzy
Graduate Dog
1.MacPherson's Dawsholm Wee Darrick
Pepper with a good masculine head and eye. Could be longer in the body. Moved ok.
Limit Dog
1. Bromley's Mishahda Volcanic Storm
Attractive pepper, masculine and with a strong head, good eye and expression. Good ribbing and good length of body, good bone and feet, in a quality coat of correct texture and colour. High tail spoils his topline. Moving better behind than infront, and needs more layback to balance him.
2. Knapper's Maganbar Applejack
Mustard with a pleasing head and eye.Ok in shoulder and good ribs and length., in excellent coat, and good tail carriage.Moving better in front than behind, and could be more shapely.
3. Hansford's Cassencarrie Bonnie Lad
Pepper with a strong masculaine head and expression. Shorter than first and second and not moving well today. Needs more angulation.
Open Dog
1.Deacon's Ch Cassencarrie I Kid You Not
Showy young mustard with a pleasing masculaine head and eye. Fair shoulder placement, long bodied, weasely shaped, good bone and feet, shown in correct pencilled coat and good order. A touch short in ribbing and needs to mature in body properties to balance the overall picture. Moved out well in profile, sound going away and fair coming to. BD & CC
2.Hunter's Ch Etsill Scapa Flow
Typical pepper with a lovely masculaine head and eye. Ok in shoulder and quarters angulation, balanced and of good length of body, good topline, and ribbing. Good bone, shown in a rather short coat of correct texture. Not moving entirely soundly behind in the class, which cost him. In the challange, mopved out more positively to win Res CC.

 Veteran Dog
1. MacInnes' Glencobo Wreckin Lad at Bettymac
14 Year old pepper with a lovely head and eye. Correct layback, good bone, and moved well for his age. In good order. BV

Minor Puppy Bitch
1. Denham's Dentgate Royal Jubilee
A most pleasing feminine and typical pepper, good head,, excellentexpression, big nose and teeth. Best of shoulder layback, giving a clean neck and outline. Long and weasely shaoped, good ribbing andquarters.  Coat coming through, and moved soundly with style. A touch raw and immature yet, but a most promising prospect.
2. MacInnes' Bettymac Starry Eyed Lassie
Attractive mustard with a lovely eye and expression, correct layback and balance, shown in good coat and order.  Not the strength of skull of the first, and needs to settle on the move.
Puppy Bitch
1. Denham's Dentgate Royal Jubilee
2. Henry's Deegandan Grace Darling
Pretty rather immature pepper. Pleasing femanine head, good layback and topline. Well balanced and moved out well. Not the strength of head and muzzle or bone of first. Has yet to finnish and much to like.
3. Henry's Dariant Grace Mi Solar at Trinzy
Mustard with a pleasing head and eye, good forehand, good bone and moved out well enough. In good coat and order. Preferred the length of ribs of the second.
4. Miller's Puddockswell Monnshadow at Dryfevalley
Junior Bitch
1. Bromley's Cassencarrie Going Back to Mishahda
Typical and quality pepper, long low and weasely shaped. Pleasing forehand, good skull and expression, big nose and teeth. Good in body and quarters. Moved out well in profile, needs to be a touch more positive behind. In the challange, lost her topline on the stack, and did not go as well as before. Has the essentials and plenty of time. One to watch.
2. Miller's Puddockswell Truly Scrumptious at Dryfevalley
Mustard, scored in head proportion and eye.Pleasing forehand and in a quality jacket. Not the proportions of first. Moved ok.
Special Yearling Bitch
1.Henry's Deegandan Grace Darling
2.Kerrush's Micklam Lemon Mousse
Typical mustard, in super coatand order. Pleasing head, good bone, ribbing and quarters. Balanced overall and moved soundly. Has much to like, however, needs to gain in confidence and use her tail, as this detracts from the overall picture and cost her here.
Novice Bitch
1.Henry's Deegandan Grace Darling
2.Kerrush's Micklam Lemon Mousse
3.Henry's Dariant Grace Mi Solar at Trinzy
Graduate Bitch
1. Skitt & Marshall's Dun Eideann Limited Edition
 Typical mustard with outstanding head properties. Has good bone and feet, and shown in good coat and order.Could have some more angulation and length. Moved soundly.
Limit Bitch
1. Heywood's Cloverwood Day by Day at Schalulleke
Typical and quality, feminine pepper with a good head and excellent expression. Excellant layback, and well angulated quarters, flowing topline, and in super coat and order.  Moved out soundly coming and going. In the challange just preferred the head and muzzle properties, and touch more bone of CC winner.
2. Rassmussen's Dentgate Summer Sunrise
Typical mustard with a pleasing skull and eye, good in forehand and length of body.Good bone, and in good textured coat.Moved out well enough.
3. Coleman's Schalulleke Izzydibble
 Mustard with a good head and expression, enough bone and correct length of body. In short good textured coat.Not the movement of first and second.
Open Bitch
1.Ray's Dentgate Sweet Symphony
 Typical quality mustard with an excellant head and eye, big nose and teeth. Good neck and layback, ribs well back, pleasing in body and topline. Shown in cracking good coat and order. Good bone and feet. Moved well on the go around and when she got going, sound out and back. Mature and finnished picture. BB. CC Best in Show.
2.Russell's Ch Aust Ch Jollygaze Hopeless Romantic for Hawkesmill
 Quality pepper and a super showgirl. Pleasing skull and eye, good neck and layback, good ribbing, topline and length. In good coat.Could have a touch more angulation behind, and preferred the size of first. Moved well on the go around, and better behind than infront.Close up in the challange.
3. Jarvis' Mosterlada Shooting Star
Typical mustard. Good head and eye, pleasing forehand, ribs well back and good length of body. In a short coat. Moved out soundly.
4. Coleman's Schalulleke Izzydibble

Veteran Bitch

1. MacInnes' Bettymac Jenny Wren
Mustard with a good head and expression, good ribbing, and enjoying her day out. Not moving her best today.

Mary Scott Stakes
1. Dariant Genri Mi Rey at Trinzy
Nancy Patterson Stakes
1. Mosterlada Shooting Star
2. Deegandan Grace Darling
3. Dariant Grace Mi Solar at Trinzy

1. Henry's Dariant Grace Mi Solar at Trinzy & Dariant Genri Mi Solar at Trinzy
