Best in Show Billy & Jackie Shore's Ch Swanwillow Savannah

The Summer Show in Moffat Town Hall, 2nd July, 2008, once again was very successful. Fom an observer's point of view it was excellent to see so many new Dandie Owners with their new Dandie Dinmont Puppies and that has to be one of the highlights of the day.

It all began with a grooming workshop under the guidance of Brian Kerrush where owners learnt to care for their Dandie's coat. Several of these Dandies still had their puppy coats and were dutifully, as any new puppy owner should do, taken home to rest rather than staying on for the show in the afternoon.

Les Aspin with his Best in Show Swanwillow Savannah The show followed, judged by International Terrier Judge Les Aspin who would easily have come first in the 'Best Dressed Terrier Judge' class if it had existed... and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy his day going over the quality Dandie Dinmonts entered under him.

Best in Show was Billy & Jackie Shore's meteoric Ch Swanwillow Savannah and Reserve Best in Show was Jack Heywood & Wendy Weatherstone's Schalulleke Blue Print for Borderstone out of Limit Bitch.

Best Opposite Sex was Wendy's Hendell Beau Brummel at Borderstone. Best Puppy was Brian Kerrush's Inzievar Royal Gold and Best Veteran was Deidre McLeod's Healaval Kelp looking magnificent for her age at nearly 13.

We have put together a few hasty videos from the show which you can access on our YouTube click here.
