Dandie Dinmont Terriers do not have problems that currently require registration.

It should be noted that there have been instances of Primary Closed Angle Glaucoma in our breed and all Dandie Dinmonts should have a gonioscopy at regular intervals during their lives. Most Veterinarians do not carry out this simple test themselves but regular eye testing sessions are held throughout the UK by Opthalmologists. For details please see announcements by the Dandie Clubs, Our Dogs and Dog World Newspapers or obtain a referral to a recognised Opthalmologist through your Vet.
