 Problems that might possibly but rarely occur are Cushings, Hypothyroidism and Primary Closed Angle Glaucoma.

This should not deter you from owning a Dandie. Nearly all of our stock have happy, healthy and long lives.

Although a Dandie Dinmont Terrier has a long back, back problems are comparatively unusual in a Dandie that has been reared and fed correctly and not over-excercised as a youngster. Several adult Dandie Dinmont Terriers are now competing in Mini Agility Competitions.
